The building has begun on Marissa's House Orphanage in Jimma, Ethiopia.  Jimma is the largest city in Southwestern Ethiopia. It is expected to be finished by October 2010. We are using My House Ministries to build the orphanage and operate it successfully.

We need $50,000 US to accomplish this goal of housing up to 70 orphan children in Jimma, Ethiopia.  The foundation is already being laid and God is blessing this project!

Marissa's House will be first a church, and then a home. Based on James 1:27, homeless widows, especially those with children, will be sought out as caregivers. Widows know the pain of loss the children are experiencing and they also need a place to live and bring up their own children.  The caretakers and children will live in one part of the building and the rest will be used as a church and community gathering place.
